Counselling Fees and Availability

Clear information about fees and practical arrangements can make it easier to decide whether counselling is right for you.

Session fee

My fee is £60 for each 50-minute counselling session. I do not offer discounted, concessionary or low-cost counselling.

Payment is due at the end of each session and can be made in cash or by bank card.

Where sessions take place

• In person in central Chelmsford
• In person at The Turner Centre in Colchester
• Online for adults in the UK and Europe

How often sessions take place

Counselling normally takes place once a week at an agreed regular time. The consistency of the appointment is an important part of psychodynamic work and gives us a reliable space in which to think together.

Short-term and open-ended counselling

Some people come with a specific issue they want to explore over a shorter period. Others find that open-ended work is more appropriate for longstanding or recurring difficulties. We can discuss what may suit you during the initial consultation and review this as the work develops.

Availability

Availability changes as clients begin and complete counselling. Please contact me for current appointment times in Chelmsford, Colchester or online.

Initial consultation

I offer a free initial consultation so that you can ask questions, outline what has brought you to counselling and get a sense of whether working together feels right.
