Looking for online counselling?
There are many options out there but please do your research. In an unregulated industry anyone can call themselves a therapist.
I have a Masters Degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and am a Registered Member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I also follow the Ethical Framework of the BACP to ensure that you are being looked after at every stage of therapy.
Online counselling uses software that everyone has access to, Zoom, Teams, Whatsapp and FaceTime.
You will need to be on your own, somewhere private where you won’t be disturbed. Ideally indoors. It isn’t a great idea to be sitting in your car.

Psychodynamic therapy offers a meaningful space to explore and understand the deeper aspects of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Rooted in the idea that unconscious processes influence present-day experiences, this approach aims to uncover patterns shaped by past relationships and experiences, fostering insight and self-awareness.
One of its core benefits is its focus on understanding the root causes of emotional distress, rather than merely addressing symptoms. By exploring unresolved conflicts or long-standing feelings, clients can experience lasting change and emotional relief.
The therapeutic relationship itself is an integral part of psychodynamic therapy, offering a safe, confidential space where feelings and fears can be openly expressed. This process can improve emotional resilience, strengthen self-esteem, and enhance interpersonal relationships.
Psychodynamic therapy is particularly beneficial for individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or a general sense of dissatisfaction. Through deeper self-understanding, it encourages personal growth and helps clients navigate life with greater clarity and confidence.
